I had an absolutely lovely day sewing at the Cushion Making Workshop, held at the DOT to DOT Studio in East Hoathly on Saturday! Carole was a great instructor, so patient and she managed to help everyone in the room with individual tuition after a group briefing without any of us having to wait more than a few minutes for her personal attention. Carole had plenty of cushion samples for us all to look at and everyone got to make the style of cushion they liked best. Becky was on had all day too, helping everyone and keeping us refreshed with teas and coffees (thank you Becky 😊 ) If you needed anything for your project, Becky had pretty much everything you could want in her haberdashery at very reasonable prices. I can't wait for the next course! ✂️

My daughter, a uni student, did the Sunday class and had a brilliant experience with Becky. She made trendy overalls and they turned out perfect, thanks to Becky's tuition and pattern alteration help. Now my daughter is fully confident to continue sewing. Her pattern was intermediate but with Becky's help she got through it without a hitch.

My mum has just returned from her day course on how to use an overlocker. She asked me to leave a review for her as she enjoyed it so much. She learnt exactly how to use her new machine in a relaxed and calm environment - infact she likened the day to having been to a spa! Having previously been a little afraid of overlocking, she is now confident and enjoys using it in all her projects, it has opened up new opportunities and she has already put the course to good use. So worthwhile. I am now going to book myself on to a course as I am so inspired and want a taste of an overlocking 'spa' day myself!!

I have had the pleasure of attending 2 Sunday sewing sessions and one evening with Becky. Becky creates a relaxed, friendly and supportive atmosphere for all who attend. The groups are small so that you receive all the guidance that you need and you are sure to pick up some really useful techniques to help the final products of your sewing projects to look professionally finished. I will definitely be rebooking for more session in the near future and would highly recommend anyone to give one of the Dot To Dot workshops a try.

I had the pleasure of spending a day sewing last Sunday with the fabulous Becky, our teacher. She was so helpful.. After Becky re-designed very skillfully a pattern dress top to alter the bust adjustment, I was able to do a toile in calico to make sure it would fit and it did !! I can now go ahead and apply the new pattern to a dress I am making. A very successful day in all. Plus a gorgeous lunch and good company.

My daughter and her friend attended two of Becky's summer workshops and had a lovely time. On both occasions they made something to be proud of and were really delighted with their achievements. Becky was friendly, helpful and patient. Highly recommended!

Brilliant weekend bra making - who says you can't teach old dogs new tricks. Becky is a kind, patient and above all knowledgeable teacher and seamstress. I have no hesitation in recommending any course at Dot to Dot and am looking forward to doing another soon.
